MBAS employs apprentices and trainees, and places them with tradespeople and builders, known as Training Employers. This enables Training Employers to take on apprentices and trainees in a manner that best suits their business. 

Safety is a major focus for MBAS and prospective Training Employers are required to satisfy the Master Builders Minimum Safety Standard prior to taking on a Master Builders apprentice or trainee. 

MBAS Field Officers will assist prospective Training Employers on this journey.
