During this pandemic, you or someone you know might be feeling overwhelmed, anxious and confused. The amount of media information being published and the constant changes announced are hard to keep up with. Life as we know it has been turned upside down for now. In these times it’s so important to look after your own health and the health of your mates.
We can’t go out much at the moment, with clubs, pubs, sports and weekend activities cancelled for the meantime. But we are very fortunate to live in an age where we have virtually everything available at our fingertips. With the internet and technology, you can check in on your mates online with apps like FaceTime and WhatsApp.
As tradespeople and builders alike, it’s very hard to sit still for a while, but take the opportunity to relax and try something new. And there are plenty of ways you can keep yourself busy at home:
- Complete an unfinished project around the house – at least Bunnings is still open
- Do a big cleanup of the shed – you might find some items that you can sell on Marketplace
- Find out how you can become a volunteer or join a community organisation
- Help the kids with home schooling
- Try a new recipe for dinner
- You may have been wanting to make a modification to your vehicle
- Start a new exercise routine
- Or brush up on some skills or learn something new with an online course.
