The Parramatta Cumberland division mastermind panel will consist of experts from various sectors working in the building industry

This mastermind panel brings together a diverse group of professionals, each with years of extensive experience in their respective fields. They are here to address the concerns and challenges the industry is facing and provide you with valuable insights. This will be your chance to ask any questions and openly discuss some of the hot topics in the industry today.

It is also a great opportunity to learn from the experts, network with other builders, and gain valuable knowledge that can help improve your business.

 

  • Forensic Building Consultant, Dr. John Cunniffe – An accomplished forensic building consultant with extensive experience in industry. As a fourth generation builder, John also holds multiple degrees including a Ph.D. and a D.Sc. in Process Engineering. Over the past nine years Dr Cunniffe has prepared 251 expert reports (208 for NCAT, 22 for the District Court of NSW, 17 for the Supreme Court of NSW and 4 for the Land and Environment Court).
  • Director - Dylan Chresby – With over 15 years of experience, covering RTA / RMS civil and traffic engineering, strategic, concept and detailed design phases of new buildings. Remedial engineering including diagnosis, scope and specification and contract administration for medium and high-rise projects.
  • Partner - Robert Kalde – Specializing in the building and construction industry, Robert and his team’s diverse  knowledge in areas like safety, SOPA, contracts, mediation, defects and so much more can assist with any legal matter. Bartier Perry have been an integral part of the MBA for many years.
  • Business Development Manager - Mike Ward – brings a wealth of knowledge specialising in changes to the Basix, National Construction Code (NCC), 7-Star,  NatHERS ratings, thermal bridges and application strategies. As well as analysing new technology and different glazing options including their costs and advantages. Comparing U-value (Uw) with solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) and the importance of glass and frame specifications
  • Registered Building Surveyor, Curtis Prior – An expert of many years with the latest industry updates, the do’s and don’ts of certification. Curtis is able to breakdown the changes to both the State Environmental Planning Policies (SEPP) and the National Construction Code (NCC)
  • Hydraulic Engineer, Nathan Greaves – Used as an expert witness and educator, Nathan’s is also registered as a fire safety practitioner, principle design practitioner and a building stormwater certifier. His broad knowledge of plumbing, engineering, fire legislation and design makes Nathan an integral resource to the MBA
