This project required the construction of a two level, 44 room extension on the roof of the existing private hospital, whilst the hospital maintained full clinical operations.  This 3,500m2 addition included wards, clinical areas, and consulting suites, extension of the lift shafts, significant fire engineering and services installations.  The lightweight structure compromises structural steel framing with Vitrabond façade panelling.   All mobile crane work was restricted to weekends.
This was a difficult but well planned and constructed project.
