Comments from Training Employer – David Moses
Alex came to Horizon Habitats early 2010.  Having come from the Australian Army, and having served with distinction in the elite 2nd Commando Regiment, he brought with him a disciplined, confident, positive can-do attitude.
He has a good attitude to safety on site and encourages others to take example from his leadership. He was given the responsibility of holding inductions for each person that came to site.
He has a calm temperament, and cool under pressure. He is highly motivated to succeed and we have no doubt he will be the best carpenter and builder he wants to be. He displays a great confidence in his communication and conveys a positive can do attitude.
His workmanship is of a high standard, is timely and very organized.  He has worked on several high end residential projects from beginning to end.
Goals & Ambitions
Alexis is currently doing his Certificate IV in Building and plans on doing a Masters of Project Management at UNSW. Being a mature aged apprentice, we see this as an asset as he brings a maturity and great work ethic.  His desire to take on more responsibility and future direction of managing sites is highly achievable.
