This existing large building was built as a church by the Christian Science Movement in 1910.  The church remained until recently when it was sold to the current owner.  Due to heritage constraints, the owner amended his plans to become a fully demountable two level apartment to be built inside the church’s large assembly hall, which held a congregation of 1,100.  The builder has produced a fine dwelling under difficult site conditions as none of the existing building structure could be disturbed.
