Commenced in January 2011, this project involves the construction of an ‘easy access’ upgrade of Sydenham Station in Sydney. 
There have been three main areas of construction on the project;
1.    The construction of a temporary footbridge, booking office and relocation of station entrances;
2.    Demolition and construction of a new concourse structure suspended over six live rail lines;
3.    Removal of the existing surface, re-compaction of the substrate and replacement of asphalting to all six platforms.
The project team has successfully developed and implemented a series of controls to manage the construction works within a live rail environment including the redirection of commuters, innovative controls to protect workers from the high and low voltage rail supply lines, restricted height access due to low flight paths for aircraft entering and leaving Sydney Airport, and developing a schedule of works around an ever changing train schedule.
The judges were suitably impress with the obvious time and effort invested in the design, development and installation of a dedicated fibreglass hoarding system.
