The location of this three storey beachfront home required every component of its construction to meet the structural constraints and harsh environmental conditions.  The site was basically set less than 100 metres from the breaking ocean of Collaroy Beach, requiring every component used in its construction to be of the highest quality to withstand the harsh conditions.  This included the requirement to construct up to six metre piles to the rear of the building to allow for erosion. The builder has achieved the desired result under difficult conditions.
