The Builder has utilised the high pitch of the existing roof to create a large two bedroom and rumpus room extension within the existing envelope of the house by supporting the roof with a steel ridge and steel portal frame to retain the stability of the structure.  Windows in the new gable at the front and dormers along the northern side provide excellent light and ventilation.  This is a value for money addition.
