This waterfront pool was tidal, which made the project a challenge. The customer required the swimout steps to be removed. All plumbing lines were replaced as they were all cracked and leaking, and a new skimmer box and new equipment installed. The design of this project, by the Dangar Group, was kept simple. Waterline tiles were not required, which made the project look seamless. Timber decking was constructed around the pool and Pandanus palms planted within the timber decking for a simple yet very effective design. The pool interior is a fine glass Beadcrete to enhance the new look. Award Pools has shown that a simple pool design can be the most effective.
