Constructed in Sydney overlooking the Spit Harbour, this pool was designed and built by the pool contractor and due to the elevation the final design chosen by the customer was a negative-edge pool. The site was extremely difficult due to the elevation which required small machinery to be craned into position to complete the earthworks. The pool was constructed at the same time as the major renovation to the house. The end result is a magnificent view from within the house across the pool and onto the harbour. Travertine was laid around the pool including a detailed travertine waterline. The pool’s interior is a glass bead finish which provides a smooth surface for swimmers.
