The works involved restoration (internal and external activities) to the northern and western facades of 343 George Street (originally constructed in 2 sections in 1921 & 1925 approximately 100 years ago). The building initially the home of the Commercial Banking Company then the National Australia Bank was mostly occupied during these restoration works by a high-profile tech industry tenant who could not allow business disruption. Belmadar managed the process exceptionally well with specialist works completed including, marble sill repairs, window hardware repairs – requiring casting of new fittings to match old, render repairs, paint stripping and re-coating plus installation of copper flashings to match existing. The project was completed early despite the effects of covid and excessive wet weather.
