This project involved transforming a tired office fitout into an office which showcases the theme of the business. It is a workplace that reflects a homely feel with its purpose-made joinery and architectural trims and wall mouldings. There are three distinct areas which flow together seamlessly with common details throughout, which ties the three areas together as one.
The existing chilled beam arrangement created a sound and noise transfer issue that was successfully overcome utilising sound-check plasterboard, extra baffles and matting above the perforated ceiling tiles to dampen the noise transfer without modifying ductwork.
The raised timber floor in the library shows the way to a door built seamlessly into the joinery unit. This leads to an area of relaxation and fun surrounded by bespoke joinery.
The entry foyer has a theme of walls with architectural mouldings reflecting the home unit developments for which the client is well known.
The standard of finish was high and consistent with the creation of new high-quality office space in North Sydney.
