Major features of this Medical Research and Education building at Royal North Shore Hospital, are the curved staircase in the atrium and the off form concrete external columns.  The four level curved stair case was formed, poured and finished in situ to a class 2 finish. The tread and risers were then ground and polished.   The external columns varying in height from 19 to 25 metres and the exposed soffit are also to a class 2 finish.
The quality of this concrete work is first class.
