This project is a four-level building containing two units over a common basement car park with car turntable. The site is above Bronte Beach and the builder was presented with the challenges of narrow streets, very limited access and non-existent parking during the warmer months.
The unit that was judged is spread over the top two levels and accessed by steps from the street and a lift from the basement car park. The unit includes external courtyards to the ground floor with hard and soft landscaping, cabana and pool area and a generous balcony to the first floor.
The level of finish that has been achieved inside the home is outstanding and, in such a corrosive marine environment, the materials used externally were of a standard to cope with the environment and still complement this well-designed and -constructed residence.
