The $148m Long Bay Forensic and Prison Hospitals involved the construction of two new hospitals on separate sites within the Prison Complex.  The 85 bed Forensic hospital was built for the NSW Health Justice, arm of the Dept. of Health and the 85 bed Prison hospital for the Dept. of Corrective Services.  Apart from the necessary and obvious security requirements of a hospital within a prison, the facilities are equal to the best in the NSW Health system.
The builder has done an incredible job in sorting out all of the logistical, access and security problems associated with constructing this project in only two years.
