A very extensive & sympathetic restoration of an important state registered historic building for a family living in a modern world. The work and time that went into protecting existing structure & fabric was well considered. Some standout aspects included the roof work using new imported slate, the reconfigured kitchen area connecting to the existing old stone building and the stone work restoration and resolution of dampness and storm water run-off. The timber work was also excellent and the Australian red cedar doors were a visual standout.
