TrainTrack is an innovative software system developed internally by Buildcorp. Buildcorp identified a serious blind spot within Buildcorp’s systems, in terms of safety. This blind spot posed a personal liability risk to our Managing Director and the senior management group in terms of fulfilling their duty to demonstrate WHS due diligence. Through gathering all their project data, TrainTrack becomes a gap analysis tool that identifies what safety training is done and required for each staff member on any given project. TrainTrack has turned Buildcorp’s blind spot into a positive performance indicator. We selected a number of positive performance indicators which we measure and calculate within our Safety Index to determine how “proactive” all our projects are. Since TrainTrack’s implementation, staff safety training has increased by 50% across all projects at any given time.
