The highly recognisable Australia Post Building in Cleveland Street has been refurbished into a modern office building. Buildcorp took ten months to complete the façade upgrade, new ground floor portal, lobby, external works and a base building upgrade.
The building remained in occupation throughout which necessitated a substantial night shift throughout the construction period. All perimeter glass, approximately 5000 panels, were removed and replaced, along with painting sub sills and frames and replacing cappings, all whilst the floors remained in occupation. The surface of the existing façade of Mudgee red stone was removed and a sealer applied.
Buildcorp has finished the building to a high standard with a high degree of co-ordination demonstrated by the team.
