The project objective was to upgrade NAB House into one of AMP’s flagship buildings with a 4.5 Green Star rating. The Building is targeting a NABERS rating of 4.5 and with anitiv planned to achieve 5.
The 18 floor base build refurbishment was undertaken in four stages and the works included structural alterations and facade alterations. All internal finishing’s including mechanical plant, electrical cabling, lights, power and data new finishes, ceilings, carpet, blinds, new stone lobbies (wall and floors), new amenities including new services, wall, partitions, ceiling, fixtures and fittings were upgraded. Services had to be maintained throughout the work.
The NAB branch and offices remained operating during the refurbishment including Cafe within the entrance lobby at ground floor.
All noisy or potential disruptive works were undertaken out of hours to ensure building occupants were allowed minimum disruption from noise and dust.
