Built IT Development team (Built Labs) recognised a short fall in the Building and Construction Industry, whereby the legal requirement to provide Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) to comply with the 18 categories of High Risk Construction Work (HRCW) had become distorted, burdensome, more often than not a tick and flick exercise. Built sought advice/feedback/experience and direction from some of the most experienced and influential minds, representing a broad cross section the Building and Construction Industry.  In an attempt to design and deliver a platform for the wider construction industry mainstream population to access and understand at every level. Cradling the end users ability to use the SWMS platform, correctly was the challenge. All too often the WHS legal requirements for SWMS are misinterpreted by Clients, the Office of Federal Safety Commissioner Auditors, Principal Contractors and Sub-Contractors alike. On this occasion Built got it right.
