Calida was responsible for the internal and external fit-out of this three-storey bar/restaurant with associated basement works.
The works consisted of the early handover of some of the completed external works including the driveway.
Externally, Calida constructed a new timber decking system. Curved glass sliding doors surround the venue at each level, while timber dowels have been bent to follow the circular external appearance of the building.
There was 45 tonnes of soil and landscaping, large hand-made sculptures, equipment for three bars and three commercial kitchens craned to the upper levels.
The timber ceilings, timber wall panelling and timber floors are a feature throughout the venue. The fitout included associated basement works consisting of a post-mix room, keg room and staff room with bathroom amenities.
The décor captures the lifestyle of today, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The quality of the finishes and level of coordination required to meet the timeframe is a credit to all involved.
