This 300m long timber walkway, has been constructed in some of the steepest and most difficult terrain within Taronga Zoo.
The walkway located adjacent to the Snow Leopard, Barbary Sheep and Himalayan Tahrs exhibits, required complex access, materials handling and security logistics.
The timber posts, bearers, joists and decking are all Queensland spotted gum and ironbark.
The walkway aesthetically blends in with the Zoo surrounds and includes: 
•    150 x 150 posts – 230 posts up to 4.200m in length were used;
•    200 x 75 bearers – 502 lineal metres;
•    200 x50 joists – 2,457 lineal metres;
•    90 x 35 decking – 6,245 lineal metres;
•    34,000 stainless steel decking screws.
A most impressive timber walkway.
