This 655m2, new auditorium project at Jindabyne for the NSW Sport and Recreation, required some innovative construction methodology to meet the clients deadline.  The structure is concrete and structural steel with high thermal performance cladding for the sub-alpine conditions.
All wet areas and storage spaces were prefabricated off site, complete with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic services and plant rooms for serving the entire complex.   The prefabricated pods were craned into position coinciding with the lock up stage of the project.
The completed auditorium is robust and fit for purpose, providing for the needs of the staff and visitors.
