The Mabel Fidler Building is essentially three separate four storey buildings, linked via walkways. 
A most impressive feature is the three cantilevered slabs spanning 13 metres that are supported from above by a structural steel roof truss. The façade is a combined “Rodeca” polycarbonate panel and curtain walling system.
The external lift shaft and stair walls are Class One, off-form concrete.
Internally the fitout is a mixture of plywood ceilings and wall linings with bamboo flooring.
The school was constructed in 17 months.
