This project pushed the limits of concrete with a 13m cantilever on one side and 7m on the other of centre supports. These cantilevered sections have another storey on them. Some of the formwork was done in fibreglass by boatbuilders to achieve the required design. The reinforcing for this is a work of art with a mixture of conventional reinforcing and post tensioning. The concrete for this project was specially designed by Boral to achieve no deflection over such a long cantilever.
