De La Salle College is a large, established Catholic school at Revesby. The existing school hall was built around 1950 and had outlived its usefulness.
COWYN’s brief was to refurbish the old hall into flexible learning spaces and to concurrently build a new state-of-the-art hall, all with minimal disruption to the school’s functioning.
COWYN has achieved this and the new multi-purpose hall should accommodate the school’s needs for the next 70 years. The new hall looks magnificent and features white Mudgee stone precast panels and twin wall polycarbonate sheeting.
Internally, a flexible sports area, learning spaces, a food servery, and gymnasium and change room are provided for the students. The building is very well finished and was completed with no ‘lost time injuries’. Well done, COWYN.
