This large residential mixed use development project, built on a long narrow site in North Sydney CBD, on two street frontages and adjoining building site the western boundary, and a high rise building on the eastern boundary and a major girls high school opposite, comprises 21 levels, with 242 apartments, seven (7) retail tenancies, three (3) commercial suites and six (6) levels of car parking.
The site location and restricted site access, created major logistic and materials handling, cranage, and storage difficulties for the site team which severely impacted on progress.
Overcoming the difficulties of site access and logistics was exacerbated by the inclusion of an infinity swimming pool on level 21, with apartments below, this required extensive structural engineering and innovative engineering by the pool consultant and acoustic engineer, resulting the pool base resting on springs.  
The site restrictions created opportunities for the site team by having to seek other than traditional construction, materials handling and hoisting methods.
Extensive use of structural precast concrete presented challenging site resolutions for the construction team.
Externally the building includes an undulating façade of bronze-hued cylindrical aluminium columns, aptly named the ‘Veil’ Extending from the ground floor up past the roof, the façade becomes a precedent to the built form and its functionality, dividing the building into three sections.
The project team is to be congratulated for delivering a building that has been constructed to a high quality of finishes and the result is a stunning yet complex building and the design integrity has been maintained throughout the construction process.
