This multi-level retail precinct mall is part of the $2 billion One Central Park redevelopment on the former Carlton & United Breweries site.
The retail precinct has five levels that were completed in two stages - Level 2 food court (Stage 1) and retail shops consisting of 64 tenancies (Stage 2). Stage 1 had a contract period of six months and Stage 2 including all 64 tenancies were fitted out two months later – an overall contract period of eight months. 
Materials handling to the retail precinct had to be coordinated with Watpac, which handed over the concrete structure with all services risers capped off at each level of the retail precinct for Dynamic Projects to complete the retail levels, co-ordinate all tenancy fit-outs and install all escalators. 
The tight contract program period was compounded by Dynamic, Watpac and shopfitters all sharing the same loading dock and street access areas for materials handling. The delivery logistics and traffic control were a major challenge to maintain and co-ordinate.
Dynamic Projects could only use the two goods lifts (1.5-tonne capacity each) between 4pm and midnight to transfer all materials from street level to the retail precinct. 
Dynamic Projects successfully completed the project on time by working 24-hour shiftwork in the final weeks, reaching peaks of 400 to 500 workers onsite. 
The retail precinct has been completed to a high standard of workmanship in extremely tight contract periods and is testament to the dedication of the Dynamic Project management and site team. A very worthy winner of this award.
