This building delivered by Erilyan for GenesisCare is constructed and finished to a very high standard and is well detailed. The project was a ”joint venture” between the building owners, Genesis and Erilyan. The local council were closely involved as their planning zoning defined the site area as a future medical precinct and Council were keen that the first building, located on a prominent corned site be well designed and use quality materials for the facades.    The building delivers on Councils desire for a quality development with large areas of window walls, extensive vertical aluminium/timber sun blades, and prefinished curved CFC cladding which resembles aluminium.  The facility is aiming at a Six Star Green Star Rating which is ambitious for a commercial health project and a credit to the client, tenant, and development team. A comprehensive range of innovative, comfort-enhancing, resilience, and energy-efficient features were included in the design and construction:... ~ Passive Design Strategies such as orientation, shading, and natural ventilation to optimise thermal comfort and reduce reliance on mechanical heating and cooling systems enhance occupant comfort and improve energy efficiency... ~ High-performance Building Envelope comprising insulated walls, roofs, and windows minimises heat transfer, reduces energy consumption, and enhances occupant comfort by maintaining stable indoor temperatures... ~ Advanced HVAC Systems provide energy-efficient heating, ventilation, and air conditioning and ensures optimal indoor air quality and thermal comfort while minimising energy usage... ~ Renewable Energy Integration, the project incorporates renewable energy sources such as solar panels to generate onsite electricity, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and enhancing energy resilience... ~ Water-Efficient Fixtures and Systems such as low-flow tap-wear and toilets, combined with rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling systems, reduce water consumption and enhance water resilience... ~ Smart Building Technologies including the building monitoring systems (BMS) and occupancy sensors which optimise energy usage, enhance occupant comfort, and operational efficiency... ~ Resilient Construction Materials: Such as reinforced ecopact concrete and weather-resistant equitone cladding, enhances the building’s durability and longevity... ~ Large Window Areas are provided which give generous natural daylighting and outdoor views improving occupant comfort, productivity, and well-being.
