Erilyan was required to reroute the main hospital entry and realign the loading dock driveway before constructing the hydrotherapy pool and a 10-bed rehabilitation ward. This resulted in numerous services relocations including high-voltage lines that fed the hospital substation. A complication was the connection into the existing rehabilitation unit including the gymnasium refurbishment.
The pool area utilised a timber-frame LVL roof structure, CSR ceiling and Dulux Enviropoxy paint to ensure water tightness.
Close co-operation was required between Erilyan and the hospital. As the hospital was in a koala habitat area, two koala habitat trees replaced each tree removed during the works.
Erilyan has achieved a high quality of finish, none more so than in the pool area.
