It’s taken a while but this submission catapults Safety in Design to the forefront of Construction, exactly where it should be. Planning is what saves lives. Tracking down the original engineers that designed the building makes sense to once again engage them to design how to deconstruct it. Practical implementation was followed to a tee. Complimented with regular coordinated conversations with two other builders in the same block seems simple. Yet it is one that yields massive benefits in maximising unused road closures, one that collectively embraces all other interested parties inhabiting occupied nearing buildings in a strategic approach that alleviates any public concerns raised enabling safe efficient construction to ensue.
