FDC’s extensive use of steel features throughout the hotel, auction arena, 11 stables and the big barn.

The semi-circular open steel trusses spanning over the auction arena with spaced metal purlins are covered with tapered metal roof sheeting. The branches of the fig tree have been meticulously shaped from structural steel and are a stunning feature that complements the project.

All structural elements including the roof coverings, right down to the hinge detail on windows and barn stable doors, are outstanding. FDC’s metal workers and tradesmen installed and fabricated the steel work with exceptional detail and a high-quality finish.
