The Clemenger fitout of 4000m2 was undertaken in a 109-year-old building, with all of its many restrictions associated with a building of heritage significance.
The project involved demolition and stripout of the existing office fitout, refurbishment of amenities and fitout of new workspaces. The new fitout included new mechanical, lighting and data throughout and a new floating floor system. FDC also constructed a recording studio, edit suites and large presentation spaces.
Central to the new fitout is a large bleacher, which is used for company ‘town hall’ addresses and client presentations. The bleacher also doubles as a meeting room below and a supplementary access to the upper floors. Building services and built elements throughout have been installed to assimilate within the heritage pier.
The high-end finishes were well executed, with the featured bleacher area achieving a high-impact, impressive area demonstrating skilled workmanship.
