The project consists of multi-use auditorium accommodating two full-sized basketball courts and a “climbing wall”, together with two meeting rooms opening to a larger meeting room, amenities and extensive landscaping completely designed by Allen, Jack & Cottier Architects for Fairfield City Council.
One of the major difficulties encountered during the construction was the co-ordination of the Barrisol stretch fabric ceiling with services and fixture penetrations. The site measurements, manufacture and installation of the Barrisol became the critical path for completion of the project. 
The specified high-quality materials and finishes created a number of complex technical challenges that FDC managed to find innovative solutions for to avoid program delays, with each problem overcome through collaboration by the project team. 
The workmanship throughout the project is exceedingly high and has resulted in an excellent community facility for a very satisfied client, Fairfield City Council.
