Under a design and construct contract and within an existing building, FDC has delivered a quality facility. Virgin Active is over two levels and includes a 25-metre heated lap pool and spa, sauna, climbing wall, studios for pilates, boxing, cycling, weights and other fitness areas.
The handover from the base builder was complicated but these issues were resolved by the initiative shown by FDC.
A key feature of the fitout was the sound rating achieved through attention to detail. The result is a facility that exceeded client expectations and has become a model on which others have been based.
