The Project involved the refurbishment of a dilapidated Mascot office space into a fully customized, state of the art office, studio and warehouse for one of Australia’s leading fashion brands. The project involved the full internal demolition including L1 flooring and internal structural walls which also incorporated significant structural remediation to the external rear wall. The scope also included all new external windows, internal office space for 60 staff, photography room, show room, executive offices, lift, car stacker, kitchen and wellness centre. The works also included all new services including mechanical, electrical, fire and hydraulic services. The rear wall of the building was bowing in the middle requiring extensive remediation, temporary propping and engineering upgrades to the stability of the wall. Fire engineering was also challenging due to the change of use and classification of the building. Existing structural elements had to be exposed in order to facilitate additional fire rating measures. The finished works display high end finishes that involved may bespoke details to reflect the client’s requirements. The works were completed in a timely manner and resulted in a high-quality facility.
