This elegant pool offers a big, bright look in a small space in inner-city Paddington and has been designed to maximise the available area without compromising functionality for the family, so they can enjoy the water, entertain and relax. The pool has been fully integrated into the form and function of the space and surrounding entertainment areas. The most inspiring aspect is the inclusion of the acrylic panel in the end, which, combined with the frameless glass fencing, really adds to the visual impact. Rather than visually blocking the pool area with a rendered pool wall, the clear panel visually blows out the size of the area. The clients were delivered a high-quality pool, reflected in all materials and finishes used throughout this build, including sapphire mosaic tiles in the pool and spa interior, and Fibonacci stone paving and coping around the pool. The same Fibonacci stone is used on the patio area to provide a seamless transition between spaces. The pool is fully automated, ensuring it receives maximum usage without time spent on maintenance. Every piece of equipment can be set or controlled from the in-home touch pad. The pool also boasts three jets with multi-coloured lights – at night, these look like fibreoptic cables bending the light and creating a visual effect and pleasant water-trickling sound to drown out city noise. Multi-coloured pool and spa lights provide an amazing night scene. The final result is an enticing and practical pool that embodies the technical resolve and stylish aesthetics of a pool space that Freestyle Pools strives to deliver.
