This contract required the retention of the existing building façade whilst the interior of the hotel was totally demolished and a basement level excavated.
A new four level structure was then constructed within the retained walls of the hotel.
New bars were installed on all levels including the rooftop, a kitchen on the ground floor and a lift serving all levels was provided.
Limited access times for materials handling and very tight council restrictions were limiting factors for the contractor.
This was a most difficult project which demonstrates the skills of the builder.
