This contract required the complete refurbishment of the existing hospital.
The works involved structural modifications, upgrading of the wards, the addition of ensuites to the wards, construction of a hydrotherapy pool, new staff areas and a total upgrade of building services.
All of this work took place whilst the hospital remained in operation -  the hospital is located in a heavily populated area with narrow streets and limited parking.
This most difficult project was completed in 20 months.
