Fugen constructed two new theatres and anaesthetic patient holding areas with cryo room, and associated nurse station, change rooms and scrub room etc. Also included was a new indoor hydrotherapy pool connected to an existing gymnasium and an upgrade of three existing theatres.
Careful planning was undertaken by Fugen as this project was done in stages and within the confines of a full operating hospital without any interruption to the existing services. Access was in part through the operating theatre area for the upgrade works.
The quality of work and finishes was of a high standard under difficult circumstances.
