This project involved the upgrading of the existing Sutherland Shire Road network in two discrete locations, that being the Linden Street intersection upgrade and the Heathcote Bridge upgrade.  The existing narrow Heathcote bridge was built in 1943. Traffic flows have increased hugely since then and Fulton Hogan has built a second parallel bridge across the Woronora River which enhances both the traffic flows and safety of the road. The Linden Street upgrade includes the provision of an additional road lane and general improvement of the traffic flow through the intersection.  Both these locations had their challenges, but the client was very commending of Fulton Hogan’s expertise and professionalism.
