The builder was initially presented with a fairly simple scope of producing a boat storage shed with bathroom facilities. The builder was called upon to merge the structural requirements of a boat house with the natural aesthetics required by an exacting client with very specific tastes. This, coupled with the project being located in a very challenging location many metres below the road level, tested the builder’s ability in many respects.The result is an authentic and unique Australian boat house which doubles as a sophisticated casual second dwelling in an ideal location.
