The Council Room project consisted of demolition of the existing fitout; 10 new openings to the existing perimeter; feature timber ceiling and wall panelling; acoustic wall panelling; curved faceted timber wall panelling and the mechanical, audio-visual and electrical upgrade of existing services.
The visual highlight is the timber panelling to the ceiling and walls and the bow tie-shaped ceiling required to resolve the acoustic issues in the room. The level of detail and setout required to achieve the desired result is commendable.
Graphite worked closely with the consultants to achieve an outstanding result. 
Overall, the works were well executed to a high standard under difficult conditions. A high level of skill and craftsmanship has been demonstrated to achieve the final result.
