Windeyer Chambers is a 14 storey building located in busy Macquarie Street in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. The building had its eastern façade refurbished and the northern, western and southern facades remediated. The existing plant room was converted to commercial office tenancy including the extension of one of the existing lift, and a new plant room constructed above. This work was undertaken whilst the building continued to be occupied throughout the building works.
The work has been carried out to a high standard in difficult circumstances. It required careful and detailed planning and communications with stakeholders. An excellent outcome.
