The Medica Centre is a private hospital; it is considered a one stop shop for all medical needs.
The nine level basement car park is 27m deep, requiring 68,000m2 of material to be excavated.  An extensive and complicated piling and anchoring system was installed on all four sides of the excavation.
There are nine floors above ground comprising medical suites, operating theatres, post operative wards, private rooms and a large chemotherapy unit.
This is a first class medical facility; it was constructed in 34 months at a cost of $95 million.
