The Birdwood Park seniors’ living facility provides ‘vertical’ living in two forms.  Within it are 76 two-bedroom-plus-study independent living apartments with large kitchens and private balconies overlooking Newcastle’s busy King Street.   In addition, there is a 60-bed residential aged care section spanning two floors that offers 24-hour specialised care to residents, including nursing facilities.
