The Redfern Park upgrade provides new training and playing facilities for the South Sydney Rabbitohs and other local sporting teams.  The work involved the total upgrade of the park and the construction of a 2,500 seat grandstand with gymnasium, change rooms, offices, function room, kiosk and café.
The grandstand building and playing field were designed to be constructed one metre below the water table, requiring a dewatering system to be in operation 24 hours a day for six months.
This most difficult project was constructed in 15 months.
