Trésor, which means “treasure” in French, has just 17 apartments, which have specifically been designed for owner-occupiers and comprises five oversized three-bedroom garden apartments, 10 upper level three-bedroom apartments (some of which enjoy stunning city and harbour views) and two one-bedroom apartments. Enveloping Trésor is a landscaped oasis, including large garden areas on title for the ground floor apartments and a 4m x 8.5m-high evergreen wall with highly articulated façades and a subtle, sophisticated colour palette. A number of engineering challenges arose during the construction, mainly a 4m fall across the site having to maintain existing ground levels to support significant trees, while responding to the surrounding heritage-listed items and heritage conservation zone. The judges were most impressed with the ability of the builder to deliver quality of construction, with value for money and use of materials, to make Trésor a beautiful natural leafy setting, giving residents the benefits of a tranquil oasis.
