This school gymnasium is in a residential area; therefore strict acoustic requirements were called for.
Externally the pre cast concrete panels achieved these requirements, but noise through the roof posed a problem for the builder. 
The builder used 50mm acoustic wall panels as the high level ceiling and sourced a suitable acoustic suspension system to achieve the design requirements.
The panels were specially manufactured to dimensions to allow the ceiling and truss joins to align for the entire length of the gymnasium.
The acoustic panel used, is “Acousti Hard Top”, supplied by United Bonded Fabrics.
